There will be a number of Remembrance Day events planned for residents to pay their respects.

Every year on Remembrance Day, Canadians pay respect to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country in the line of duty.

This year, Remembrance Day falls on Saturday, Nov. 11, so many businesses and services will recognize the day on either Friday, Nov. 10 or Monday, Nov. 13.
